This home features many delightful surprises with its high ceilings, large unique windows and custom stone work. One of the many efforts focused on during construction was to make this home green. The roof system is the first of its kind on the east coast. The metal roof has built in solar panels that are virtually invisible to the naked eye, and below the solar panels lay a coiled water system. This water system allows the ground water to be naturally heated by the sun prior to entering the home’s heating system, saving energy. In addition, this system can be reversed, allowing warm water to circulate the roof, melting snow, and allowing the solar panels to again collect the suns energy.
